Interested in learning some Node.js? Know some already & want to improve your skills? Come by this Nodeschool workshop & work thru a lesson that matches your skill level. There are lessons for Javascript novices & pros alike, all programmers are welcome! (That said, if you've never written code before this workshop might be a bit much-- it's not "Intro to Programming" & assumes you know what variables & functions are etc..).

In this 3 hour workshop I'll give a short intro to Node.js: what it is, why and when to use it, then we'll split into pairs & work thru Nodeschool lessons. Bring a buddy or come alone-- we'll pair you with someone close to your skill level!

Prereqs/Prep:

• Lessons are in the terminal, so come willing to use it
• Install Node.js before you come if possible
• This workshop is not "intro to programming" & assumes you know basic programming concepts
