Chris is the founder and team leader for Knectar (www.knectar.com), a twelve-person web development firm based in Western Massachusetts. He specializes in advanced web site architecture, team development, technical project management. Chris has managed dozens of complex web application productions, including global content management systems, enterprise level e-commerce systems, and custom API (application programming interface) designs. Clients include Harvard Medical School, Jack Daniels, Buzztala.com, MIT, among other global brands, start-ups, and universities. Chris is also the lead product designer of Piston (www.pistonapp.com), a web-based capacity management application. Chris has two kids, likes strawberries with vanilla ice cream, and 'old man jazz'.

Heather Bauer is the Junior Usability Specialist for BioRAFT, the provider of integrated laboratory safety and research management software solutions. Heather will be completing her Masters of Science in Human Factors and Information Design from Bentley University in December 2014. During her studies at Bentley, Heather performed user research for one of the largest Pharma companies in the United States, a small educational startup, and Sapient, a marketing and consulting firm. She also acted as co-organizer for the Boston Service Jam, a 48 hour event promoting service design. Heather is an Expert in Residence at General Assembly for their course, User Experience Design (UXD). User Experience Design is a twelve-week course, taking students with varied experiences from zero to prototype in the UX design process. Working for BioRAFT allows Heather to deliver real-world UX experiences and artifacts to her students.

Susan Buck is a programmer, designer, and educator with over 15 years of web development experience, starting with her education in digital media at NYU's Interactive Telecommunication Program and UNC Asheville's New Media program.

Most recently, Susan co-founded the Women's Coding Collective, an educational initiative aimed at helping more women excel in programming and web development. While working on the WCC, Susan also teaches Dynamic Web Applications with the Harvard Extension School and Harvard Summer School.
