Creating an account on the site is awesome but you must get your tickets specifically for the 2014 Summit!
Some of the ticket options have deadlines. For example, the Contributor ticket option (which comes with a NERDs T-SHIRT!) ends August 27th and Childcare tickets close August 30th!
The NERDSummit, this September 12-14 at UMASS/Amherst, is in just a few weeks with more news still to come!
